Fine Art Festival - Sunday, February 16, 2014

Our Next Art Festival at the Gardens will be on Sunday, June 15, 2014 (Father's Day).
National Tropical Botanical Garden and Women Artists of Kauai present a Fine Art Festival on Sunday, February 16, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Southshore Visitor center. 

Original art, prints, and gifts will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds supporting NTBG. These fine artists will be featured: Donia Lilly, Anna Skaradzinska, Suzy Staulz, Jennifer Rutt, Marionette Taboniar, Lannie Boesiger, Caylin Spear, Helen Turner, Patrice Pendarvis, and Keani Andrade.  There will also be live music and food available for purchase at this free, family event.

The Southshore Visitor Center is located across from Spouting Horn at 4425 Lawai Rd, Poipu.  For more information, please call the Center at 742-2433.

5th Annual Summer Fine Art Festival

National Tropical Botanical Garden and Women Artists of Kaua‘i
5th Annual Summer Fine Art Festival 
on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
at the Southshore Visitors Center
Come relax in a beautiful, tropical garden and treat yourself to a fun art festival where you can meet and talk story with some of Kauai's most prolific women artists.   Patrice Pendarvis, Donia Lilly, Helen Turner, Anna Skaradzinska, Rhonda Forsberg, Leslie Hagen, Keani Andrade, Lannie Boesiger  and Marionette Taboniar will be discussing their creative process and some may even demonstrate.   Plus, gallery quality art will be for sale in a variety of styles and mediums with a portion of the proceeds supporting NTBG.

In the morning, Dr. Matthew Miller will soothe us with his relaxing guitar music from 10 a.m. to noon, and then Kauai's own "Slack Key Lady", Cindy Combs, will be performing a special concert for us from noon to 1pm.  Paradise Grinds will also be on site with their delicious plate lunches, snacks, refreshments, and shave ice.

The mission of the National Tropical Botanical Garden is to enrich life through discovery, scientific research, conservation & education by perpetuating the survival of plants, ecosystems, & cultural knowledge of tropical regions.

The Women Artists of Kaua‘i promotes the works of female artists on the island while raising funds for local charities on Kaua‘i. All works are original, consisting of paintings, prints, photography, drawings, sculptures, pottery, mixed-media, metal, glass, fabric and textile art, or digital art.

Winter Fine Art Festival Sunday Dec. 18, 2011

National Tropical Botanical Garden and the Women Artists of Kaua'i present their 3rd Annual Winter Fine Art Festival on NTBG's 'Ohana Day, Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Southshore Visitors Center.

Great holiday fun, food, and live music for all! Gallery quality fine art (great for last minute holiday gifts) will be available in a variety of styles and mediums including paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery, mixed media and more from these artists: Anna Skaradzinska, Caylin Spear, Donia Lilly, Lilian de Mello, Patrice Pendarvis, Marionette Taboniar, and Leslie Hagen.

Enjoy live music provided by Mahealani, Dr. Matthew Miller, Bernard Almeida, and Sean Pulawa. Plus smoothies, shave ice and delicious plate lunches will be available from Happy Snacks.

Saturday, November 26 Holiday Fine Art Festival


Women Artists of Kaua'i Holiday Fine Art Festival and Fundraiser, Saturday, November 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hanapepe United Church of Christ

Great holiday fun, food, live music, and shopping at the 3rd Annual Holiday Fine Art Festival featuring original paintings, photography, pottery, sculpture, mixed media and more! A portion of the proceeds will go directly to HUCC's Free Community Lunch program offered every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm.

Traditional, soulful, Hawaiian music will be played by Mahealani, and soothing guitar music will be provided by Dr. Matthew Miller. Plus, The HUCC "Lanai Cafe" will be serving sandwiches, soups, salads, baked goods, and beverages.

Participating artists include Anna Skaradzinska, Helen Turner, Marionette Taboniar, Leslie Hagen, Lilian de Mello, Patrice Pendarvis, Susi Strom, Caylin Spear, and Donia Lilly.

Admission to this fun, family event is free. The festival will be located at the Hanapepe United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall which is right next to the Hanapepe library.

2nd Annual Winter Fine Art Festival

Saturday, December 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Southshore Visitors Center.


Celebrate the winter holiday season with this free family event featuring the Women Artists of Kaua’i. Stroll through The Meadow where you will find fine art, live music, and delicious Thai food, smoothies, and more offered by Happy Snacks lunch wagon.

Gallery quality work will be available for sale in a variety of styles and mediums including paintings, photography, jewelry, clay, mixed media and more. Artists participating include Helen Turner, Anna Skaradzinska, Millicent Cummings, Lilian de Mello, Leslie Hagen, Patrice Pendarvis, Dava Shepherd, Leslie Tribolet, Marionette Taboniar, and Susi Strom. A portion of the proceeds from the art sales will be donated directly to the Garden.

The musical lineup includes Dr. Matthew Miller on guitar from 9:30-11 a.m., Easy Living Jazz Christmas Concert by Helen Turner and Jeff Iglesia from 11 a.m.-noon, folk music by Millicent Cummings from noon-1:30 p.m., and Mahealani from 2-3 p.m.

Fine Art Festival

Women Artists of Kauai Holiday Fine Art Festival and Fundraiser, Saturday, November 27, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hanapepe United Church of Christ

Women Artists of Kaua'i Fine Art Festival & Fundraiser


Women Artists of Kaua'i Fine Art Festival & Fundraiser, Saturday, September 25, 2010, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Church of the Pacific, Princeville

Meet and talk story with the ladies of Women Artists of Kauai at this fun, free, family event. Fine art, prints, gifts, one-of-a-kinds, sculpture, oil paintings, acrylics, photography, mixed media, watercolors and more will be featured as well as painting demonstrations by the artists. All will be for a good cause as a portion of the proceeds will go directly to the church's Outreach Program which includes support of a food pantry and community garden.

Participating artists include: Anna Skaradzinska, Marlene Czajkowski, Lilian de Mello, Helen Turner, Marionette Taboniar, Dava Shepherd, Leslie Tribolet, Susi Strom, Dawn Lundquist and Leslie Hagen.

The festival will be located at the Church of the Pacific in Princeville which is directly across the main highway from Princeville Ranch Stables.

Second Annual Summer Fine Art Festival

Join us under the tents at the beautiful gardens in Poipu, Kauai (across from Spouting Horn) for a free, fun and exciting family event.

Visit with local artists Helen Turner, Anna Skaradzinska, Lilian de Mello, Dava Shepherd, Patrice Pendarvis, Elizabeth Ferris, Susan Strom, and Marionette.

Fine Art will be for sale in a variety of mediums such as paintings, photography, mixed media, and more with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the gardens.

Live entertainment will be provided by Anela Saxon, Jeff Iglesia, and Dr. Matthew Miller.

Happy Snacks will be offering their delicious Thai food, smoothies, and other snacks. Shave ice will also be available.

Holiday Fine Art Festival and Fundraiser

Women Artists of Kauai Holiday Fine Art Festival and Fundraiser, Saturday, November 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hanapepe United Church of Christ

Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with a Fine Art Festival and Fundraiser for Nana's House featuring the Women Artists of Kauai. Highlights of the festival include live Hawaiian style music by Kenny Kealoulu Keliihoomalu, painting demonstrations, one-of-a-kind pieces of art, reproductions, gift items, and ornaments. We will also have Face Painting by Aunty Steph! A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Nana's House which is a family support center provided by Child and Family Service, serving West Kauai.

Participating artists include Robin McCoy, Rocky Riedel, Aweepano Vivian Satow, Dava Shepherd, Anna Skaradzinska, Helen Turner, Jana Viles, Schar Freeman, and Marionette.
